MIAMI KLEZMER BAND
KLEYZ, is an energetic new Klezmer music group established in Miami. Their repertoire reflects the history of Jewish Music in all its rich diversity. The group’s repertoire not only includes Klezmer music but also liturgical, Chassidic, Israeli, and Judeo-Spanish music.
KLEYZ consists of three very talented musicians. Brian SCHATZ on the clarinet and flute, Paulo DIAZ on the violin and David ATTELAN on the piano. They are all degreed professionals who have obtained recognition with many prestigious awards to their credit. Besides their excellent combined technique, their interpretations are undoubtedly joyous, and their performances evoke strong emotion.
